Hi. I have a Moto G Pro and like a few of these Motos it has a front facing wide angle “action cam”.
I was expecting to be able to select this upon installing the Pro version but it only gives me the option of the standard front facing camera.
This was one of the main reasons I paid for Pro – my action cam would work perfectly with the phone positioned in portrait attached to my mount, but shoots in landscape and has excellent stabilisation.
Please can you advise if there is a workaround for this?
Regards,
Carl

The Pro version queries the system’s camera firmware to determine the available cameras, so it can only present the options provided by the system. On some devices it seems the wide-angle camera is mostly reserved for the pre-installed camera app, maybe because of non-public parameters or methods.
If you only bought the Pro version to be able to use the camera which proved inaccessible, we can refund your purchase. Please contact us in private with the Order ID sent to you by Google after your purchase.
