Hello
I bought the pro version and Im wondering why the videos I record are split into pieces and not in one whole video?
Also where is the option to choose front or back camera?
Best regards
Georges

Thanks for your answer,
Its not very clear to me how the software works.
If I set the video length to 10 minutes, will I have multiples 10 minutes video files or it will delete the first one and start a new 10 minutes video file each time 10 minutes has passed?
I’m asking this because I set the time to one hour and recorded 1 hour 2 minutes and I only got a two minutes video file.
Btw my phone, Galaxy s20, is capable of making larger than 4GB videos, I just tested it and it made me a 8GB video.
Regards

The default 2-minute length allows for proper file management, as the app needs to keep recycling the allocated storage space, deleting old temporary videos to make room for new ones. It is also easier to share/upload shorter video sequences.
You can set your own preferred video length in the app’s video settings. Ten minute videos are still fine, but if you try hour-long videos you might get into filesystem limitations. A higher quality video with a long video length can quickly reach the 4GB filesystem limit, and the system doesn’t notify the app about this. You may end up with incomplete videos, not realizing during recording that some of your driving is not recorded.
The Pro version allows you to choose which camera to use, but it doesn’t yet allow you to switch cameras, sorry. Only after installing the app you have the option to choose between the cameras made available by the system.

In your scenario of a 10-minute video length, the app will create multiple 10-minute videos saved into the Tempvideos folder. It will only delete the first one when there is no space left to create a new video.
In the app’s storage settings you can define how much space to allocate for these tempvideos. You can specify a limit based on space (in GBs), duration (in minutes) or even both (GBs and minutes – the lowest limit is considered).
For example, if you specify a limit of 60 minutes and leave the app to record for more than an hour, then you should see 6 videos in the Tempvideos folder. If you check back in an hour, you’ll still see 6 videos, but different ones, as the oldest is constantly deleted to make room for the new one.
The above scenario is valid if you check the “Delete old files” checkbox (it is checked by default). If it is unchecked, it means all videos are important to you and shouldn’t be automatically deleted. Then when the limit is reached, recording stops with a message.
There can be situations when videos are shorter than 10 minutes. You may stop recording manually, or use the Photo button, or switch between foreground and background modes. In this case the storage limit remains valid, but you may see more than 6 videos in the Tempvideos folder.
For the one-hour video length, the limit was surely already reached. That’s why that video had to be deleted to be able to create a new one.
