The app can record and store a large number of videos, depending on the storage space specified in the app’s settings. The option you see in the video settings (for 1-3 videos) is for protected videos, when there is an event worth preserving from automatic cleanup. Such a protection is triggered manually by a tap on the viewfinder, or automatically through the accelerometer (above the g-force threshold specified in the video settings).
