I accepted an update from the Google Play store. That was a mistake because the video fails to start now – suggesting I tried different encoding. I found your troubleshooting page and located the earlier version 7.1 I IIRC. That works but it is not identified as the pro version. I don’t recall the difference and I don’t know if I will be missing anything. Guidance please.

Thanks for buying the Pro version! Sorry for the problem with the update. The most likely cause is the system adding a restriction on the storage path used in the previous version.
You can change the path in the apps storage settings, or do a clean install of the 8.0.1 Pro version, where a new default storage path would be used.
