Hi guys,

I wanted a better dashcam app on my new S22 and bought Daily Roads Pro.
I tried everything to find a smarter solution than to navigate to the storage path to copy the video to another device but nothig works. I read the solution you wrote about Google Drive and the less-secure-apps-settings but obviously Google disabled these settings completely, so the automatic upload to Google Drive doesn’t work. When I use the sharing option and upload it to my Onedrive Daily Roads also shows an error message.

There is an upload function in the menu when I tap long on the secured file (in Daily Roads Files) and then the phone says it uploads a 1.6 GB file to Daily Roads – I don’t even know how to access a video there. Do I have account storage on Daily Roads? Why is the speed so slow although I’m in my WLAN?

I would prefer to simply upload all secured videos to my Onedrive, so if there’s a solution I’d really appreciate your help.

Thanks for buying the Pro version! If you can’t use it as you intended, we can refund your purchase. Please just send us a private message containing the Order ID, provided to you by Google.

Uploads to Google Drive are problematic now, so only Dropbox and our temporary hosting solution work for now. You can log in on DailyRoads.com to see your uploaded files, using the temporary username and password shown in the app:

The account is created only after a first successful upload, so you might not be able to log in yet. You can try uploading a photo or a short video first, if you have problems with larger videos. If you provide us the username, we can check the logs to understand why the big upload keeps failing.

Instead of adding support for OneDrive or other similar services (with only photo/video files), we decided to create our own hosting solution, where GPS data can also be properly uploaded and shared. This service is still under development, though.
