My issue is exactly like another one previously reported. Unfortunately, you only asked for their app logs and didn’t provide a solution. I have been using the DailyRoads Voyager, off and on, for over 2 years. This problem popped up when I transitioned to the Galaxy S21. I had to uninstall and used other apps. I have come back to the DailyRoads app hoping the issue had been resolved, but no such luck.
When the app is running just fine in the background anytime the 300 seconds that I have set for the max length occurs the application pops up in the foreground and the error message comes up saying “sorry, the camera could not be initialized”. When I click OK on that message the recording continues and camera and app work normally until the next 300 seconds expires. When the app is running in the foreground on screen the whole time the error message does not occur ever and the recordings continue. My phone is a Galaxy S21 running Android 12. However, this issue was also happening when I was running Android 11 on the same phone.
I have tried changing settings and I’m open to pretty much whatever config will work.
Great app, one of the best I have tried, but this issue is a deal breaker to me. I will have to go back to other apps unless you can help get it resolved.
I have a log file ready but i don’t see how to attach it here.
EDIT: I sent the log file about a week ago but have not heard anything back.

If we find a solution together, I’ll update this ticket for others who might face the same issue. On most devices the app just stays in the background while recording.
