When I  run the app for a short period [4-10 files] I  get a number of mp4 files that “cannot be played”.   A number of video apps players/converters/editors find “unrecognised format” or “file contains no video information”.

Ant hints clues?

This seems to be caused by corrupt video files. Possible causes and solutions:

  • Cause: invalid video parameters (especially if you tried with CQ – Custom Quality). Solution: please try the predefined quality options.
  • Cause: video stabilization errors. Solution: try to disable video stabilization in the app’s video settings.
  • Cause: SD card problems (only if you selected the storage path to be on the card). Solution: please try to save videos to internal storage, just to confirm the card is indeed the problem. If it is, then the card needs to be formatted, or even replaced.
